Hello everyone,
My name is Serhiy (Serhii, Serg, Sergio, Sergey would work as well), I’m a casual gamer and also a content creator. The idea of creating a blog in English has been in my head for a while. Every time I couldn’t start my only excuse was:
I’m not a native speaker.
On June 25th 2020 I changed my mind and decided to give it a try. What I’m planning to write about? Short answer: stuff I play or enjoy at the moment:
- PC games (I play mostly FPS, RPG and strategies);
- Console (I own PS4 now and plan to upgrade to PS5 as soon as it is out);
- Mobile (Android/iOS) F2P-friendly games (I know they are rare cause majority is P2W)
I would love connecting with people sharing the same interests and passionate about gaming, no matter what platform and genre.
I plan to add content variety gradually – starting with some text guides and moving onto videos at some point. I can’t estimate how much time it would take me writing or making videos in English, because I’ve done that before only in my native languages (I’m bilingual Ukrainian / Russian speaker).
Also, feedback is quite important for me – even when it’s criticizing. I have learned that making mistakes is normal and by doing so – I only progress forward.
Ah, before I forgot. How did I come up naming the website? As you know, Eastern European people pronounce “the” article in a very specific manner that sounds very close to “ze”. So I thought it would be funny enough to start ze gaming website 🙂
The first draft is just you telling yourself the story.

How to support the website
Creating a personal blog these days is easier than ever before. But supplying it with high-quality content regularly remains a real challenge.
I write and create content because I like doing that. My internal quality gate prefers quality over quantity, thus every post created here will be read through like a thousand times before hitting that “publish” button.
Hobby means doing something for the fun of it, not necessarily to make a living.

Even though I’m not looking to earn money by writing or creating content, I realize some people are eager to support creators like me. Or just to say thanks in another way, then writing 🙂
So here’s a few ways of expressing your support via donations.
